I decided to review this book because the premise sounded very different from the traditional shifter books I usually read. In fact, I went and purchased The Shark Who Rode a Seahorse (Mate or Meal #5), which told the story of Layton’s parents getting together so I could understand where Layton and his twin brother came from.
